- Use the "=" key to evaluate
arithmetic expressions like 2*(3+4)/5 entered into the window. No
operations are allowed other than (+ - * /) and no function can be
entered in this field.
- To evaluate something like (2+sin(30))2,
- enter 30
- press the sin(button)
- enter +
- enter 2
- press the ^2(button)
- The trig functions accept only degrees
- The ^2,^3,sqrt,exp , ln and memory keys accept
regular number expressions (e.g., 3.14) and scientific notation (e.g.,
3.14e-2) all other entries use regular number expressions only.
- The ln(button) is the natural logarithm, to
obtain the log to the base 10 divide the ln result by 2.303.
