Adding Chaiban Business
Dictionary Links Manager application developed by ArabConsult.com to
your current or new website is fast and easy by following the three
steps below. The application is fully functional and ready to go
“out of the box”. For the experienced web designer, adding this
application will take less than five minutes.

Can I use your application in any website?
ArabConsult's Link Manager application is created
using ASP scripting and MS Access database. As with any ASP scripted websites,
your web server must have ASP capabilities, and must
allow the use of MS Access databases. This
application is designed to run on ANY hosting
environment that supports ASP including UNIX, Linux
and Microsoft (running RedHat ASP Support, RedHat
ASP, Chilisoft ASP etc).
My server does not support ASP scripts. Can I use this
application?
ArabConsult's Link Manager application will run on any ASP enabled
web server. If you are not currently using an ASP
enabled web server contact your existing web host to
upgrade your hosting package OR
Click here if you require ASP
hosting. |

Unzip and Upload the Application Files
to Your Website
- Open the downloaded compressed file
containing the application files using compression software.
(note: make sure your "uncompressed" program unzipped all files
inside their respective folders/sub folders)
- Upload all files and folders to the
root directory of your website (i.e. the same
folder that contains your index.htm, index.asp, home.htm, etc.).
Please upload the files and folders to your server exactly
as they were unzipped. Moving files or folders around to
different locations, or changing the names of the files/folders
will likely cause your application to function incorrectly.

Once you files are uploaded to your web server,
you can access the display page which shows a "Search Box"
through the following URL (you need to substitute your domain
name):

Important Security Note
- ArabConsult.com highly
recommends that you secure your database
by moving it outside of your root directory.
- This is optional, but not
necessary.
